The WASM Wallabies Mining Club is a vibrant community of students, alumni, and industry professionals. We’re dedicated to both competing in the Mining Games and connecting the next generation of industry leaders with experienced professionals.

Our club hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including Mining Games training sessions, competitions, networking Sundowners, BBQs, and more.

At the WASM Wallabies, we value safety, inclusivity, and a strong sense of community. Whether you're keen to get involved in training or simply looking to meet new people, we’d love to have you join us!

Although we’re proudly a WASM club, we welcome students from all disciplines to join! The mining industry is constantly evolving and now more than ever, it relies on a diverse range of skills and expertise, many of which come from fields you might not traditionally associate with mining.

Curtin Student Members: As a member, you’ll be invited to all our events and have the opportunity to compete in Mining Games competitions. You’ll also be eligible to vote at General Meetings and nominate for vacant committee positions.

Associate Members: This membership is for anyone who is not currently enrolled at Curtin University but is still interested in enjoying the benefits of being a Wallaby. Being an associate member prevents you from voting or holding a position on the committee.
